Are sun lounger canopies adjustable and weatherproof?

Yes, most of our day beds and sun loungers with canopies feature adjustable canopy positions so you can angle the shade or retract it completely. Canopy fabrics are UV-resistant, weather-resistant polyester or acrylic that resists fading and light rain. However, canopies should be closed or covered during heavy rain and strong winds to prevent strain on the frame.

Can sun loungers be left outside all year?

Rattan and metal sun loungers can remain outside year-round as the frames are weather-resistant. However, cushions and canopies should be removed and stored indoors during autumn and winter. Cover the lounger frame with a weatherproof furniture cover to protect it from debris and UV exposure during off-season months.

Are cushions included with sun loungers?

Many of our sun loungers and day beds include padded cushions or mattresses as standard, particularly premium and rattan models. Cushions are typically 5-8cm thick with weather-resistant covers and quick-dry foam filling. Some budget or basic loungers are sold without cushions, allowing you to add your own preferred padding separately.

Do day beds have privacy screens or enclosures?

Some of our luxury day beds feature retractable curtains or privacy screens that create an intimate, enclosed lounging space. These curtains are made from weather-resistant fabric and can be drawn closed for privacy or tied back for open views. Privacy features are particularly popular for poolside or spa-style gardens where relaxation and seclusion are priorities.
