Acacia is naturally dense and contains oils that repel moisture and resist rot. All wooden furniture is pre-treated with protective wood oil, though we recommend applying additional coats annually.

Is wooden garden furniture weather-resistant?

Yes, acacia and other hardwoods are naturally weather-resistant and suitable for year-round outdoor use, resisting rot, insect damage, and moisture absorption. Apply exterior wood oil or sealant once or twice per year to maintain the original colour, or allow the wood to age naturally to a silver-grey patina. Cover with a weatherproof furniture cover during winter and store cushions indoors.
