Are garden table tops made from tempered safety glass?

Yes, all glass-topped garden tables use tempered safety glass that's 4-5 times stronger than standard glass and shatters into small blunt fragments rather than dangerous shards. Tempered glass is weather-resistant, UV-stable, and easy to clean. The glass sits securely within a protective rattan or metal rim to reduce edge chipping.

Do garden tables have a parasol hole?

Most garden dining tables include a standard 38mm diameter parasol hole located centrally, accommodating the majority of UK parasols. Glass-topped tables have a neat grommet or bung insert to seal the hole when not in use. Some coffee tables, side tables, and certain wooden tables may not have parasol holes—check individual product specifications.

What sizes of garden tables are available?

We offer garden tables for all spaces: bistro tables (60-80cm diameter), 4-seater tables (100-120cm round or 90cm square), 6-seater tables (140-160cm round or 150-180cm rectangular), and 8-seater tables (180cm round or 220-260cm rectangular). Coffee tables for sofa sets are usually 90-120cm.

Can I buy a garden table without chairs?

Yes, many of our garden tables are sold individually so you can mix and match with existing chairs or purchase chairs separately in your preferred style and quantity. Standalone tables give you maximum flexibility to create a custom dining arrangement or replace a damaged table. Tables are available in rattan, wood, metal, and rope styles, with coordinating chairs from the same range listed alongside each table.
