Are rattan storage boxes weatherproof?

Yes, our rattan storage boxes are constructed from weather-resistant PE rattan over powder-coated aluminium frames and can remain outside year-round. The lids feature gas-lift mechanisms for easy opening. While weather-resistant, they're not fully sealed—we recommend adding an internal liner or keeping cushions in waterproof bags inside for additional protection.

What can I store in a rattan storage box?

Rattan storage boxes are ideal for storing garden furniture cushions, waterproof covers, outdoor throws, children's garden toys, pool accessories, gardening tools, and barbecue equipment. A large 140cm storage box holds cushions for a full 6-8 seater dining set or corner sofa. The boxes also double as outdoor seating or side tables when closed.

Yes, rattan storage boxes are designed to be sturdy enough to double as casual seating or footstools with typical weight capacity of 80-120kg depending on size and construction. Add a cushion or outdoor throw on top for comfortable seating. This multi-functional design is ideal for smaller patios where every item needs to earn its space.

What sizes of rattan storage boxes are available?

Rattan storage boxes are available from compact 100cm models to large 140cm versions, typically 100-140cm long, 60-80cm wide, and 60-80cm high. A 140 x 70 x 80cm box is our most popular size, offering generous storage for full-set cushions and covers. Storage boxes are available in grey, brown, black, and two-tone rattan finishes.
