You can place your order over the phone by just paying the delivery charge. Once the delivery charge is paid your items are set aside for prompt delivery. Our friendly sales staff will be able to answer any questions and take your order. All payments credit card and debit card payments are taken over secure card processing facility.
At Rattan Direct we also offer a showroom for viewing and buying furniture, and you can also place an order via e-mail.
The purchase process
- Only pay on delivery! We only require the delivery charge to be paid on placing the order; the remaining amount can be paid on delivery once you are fully satisfied with your furniture purchase.
- Secure payment! The delivery charge may be paid by Credit or Debt card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Maestro, Solo, Electron), cheque or Paypal invoice. Once this is paid your furniture is set aside for you for prompt delivery.
- We can also accept Credit or Debit cards (Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Maestro, Solo, Electron), cheque or cash for the remaining amount upon delivery.
The delivery process
- Quick and courteous! Our courteous delivery service will deliver your furniture to your home in the shortest time possible. We maintain a considerable amount of stock, and it is often possible to include your order with a delivery van already heading your way. In this manner we have made a number of next-day deliveries to customers.
- However in all cases where the required items are in stock, deliveries take usually less than 14 days but do not exceed 28 days.
- Convenient notification! We will contact you 2-3 days before delivery and provide a 2 hour time slot for delivery. Where possible we choose days which are good for you. We can call a specified time prior to delivery e.g. 30 mins before.
- Weekend deliveries! Weekend deliveries are available for the London area.
- We normally charge a flat delivery fee of GBP 75 for all orders within Mainland UK, however for deliveries within our local area we can offer a discounted price.
- Deliveries to the Highlands and Islands, Ireland and Northern Ireland will be priced individually; please ask us for a quote.
- We have delivered to customers as far afield as Greece, France, Spain, Portugal and Guernsey; please enquire for delivery charges to locations on Mainland Europe.
- Our personal delivery service will place your furniture in the room of your choice and remove all packaging behind us. We only ask that you ensure reasonable access is available.
- We are also able to have additional matching coffee tables, side tables and footstools sent out to complement your existing furniture. These can be with you via post the very next day.
Our returns policy
- If for any reason whatsoever you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we will willingly refund the full purchase price.
- The buyer is responsible for all carriage costs and expenses. Goods must be returned within 7 days and be in the same condition in which they left.
